In view of the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court and UGC regulations 2009 on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, The Bharat Pharmaceutical Technology under the aegis of Anjali-Health Educational and Charitable Trust, affiliated to Tripura University (A Central University) has constituted the following committee for two academic years to eradicate / prohibit the ragging in the institute.
Anti Ragging Committee (BPT-ARC)

Objectives of Anti-Ragging Committee (ARC):
ARC is responsible for inculcating Culture of Ragging Free Environment in the institute. The ARS office bearers will work under the supervision of ARC and to engage in the works of checking places like Canteens, Classrooms and other places of student congregation. ARC will be involved in designing strategies and action plan for curbing the Menace of Ragging in the Institute by adopting array of activities. The Committee also would conduct awareness programmes from time-to-time in the institute.
Roles and responsibilities of Anti-Ragging Committee (ARC):
- To ensure compliance with the provision of UGC regulation 2009 at the institute level.
- To monitor and oversee the performance of anti ragging squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
- The committee will undertake various initiatives for anti-ragging Squad to educate the students at large by adopting various means about the menace of Ragging and related Punishments there to.
- To provide necessary advice and guidance to Anti-Ragging Squad.
- The functions of Anti-Ragging Squad will be to keep a vigil and stop the incidences of Ragging, if any, happening / reported in the places of Student aggregation including, Classrooms, Canteens, Grounds, Common rooms etc.
- The Squad will also educate the students at large by adopting various means about the menace of Ragging and related Punishments there to.
- A gamut of positive reinforcement activities are adopted by ARS for orienting students and molding their personality for a better cause. They shall work in Consonance and Guidance of ARC.
Anti-ragging Squad (ARS)
ARS will be working under the Monitoring of Anti Ragging Committee and will seek advice from the same Committee. The members of the Ant-ragging Squad are given below:

Functions of Anti-ragging Squad
- To keep a vigil and stop the incidences of Ragging, if any, happening / reported in the places of Student aggregation including, Classrooms, Canteens, Common rooms, Grounds etc.
- To educate the students at large by adopting various means about the menace of Ragging and related Punishments there to.
- To conduct various activities for orienting students and molding their personality for a better cause. They shall work in Consonance and Guidance of Anti Ragging Subcommittee.
Frequency of Meetings: Twice in a year at the end of semester or before beginning of new session. The meeting may be conducted as when it deemed necessary.
