Institutional Guidelines & Professional Standards

At Bharat Pharmaceutical Technology (BPT), we are committed to maintaining an ecosystem of academic rigor and professional integrity. All students are expected to align with the following standards to ensure a productive and safe learning environment.

1. Professional Identity & Conduct
  • Authorization: Students must strictly adhere to instructions issued by the Principal and faculty members to maintain institutional order.

  • Identification: To ensure campus security and administrative compliance, students must carry their official Identity Card at all times and produce it upon request by college authorities.

  • Property Stewardship: Students are expected to respect the institutional infrastructure. Any damage to college property is a serious breach of conduct; recovery costs will be billed to the responsible individual.

  • Punctuality: Consistent attendance in theory and practical sessions is essential. Students must demonstrate professionalism by arriving on time.

  • Milestone Submissions: Timely submission of assignments and projects is a mandatory performance benchmark. Failure to meet deadlines may result in disciplinary intervention.

  • Performance Support: Students identified as requiring additional academic support must attend scheduled remedial sessions and demonstrate measurable improvement.

BPT maintains a high-performance standard, targeting 100% attendance in all academic sessions.

  • Mandatory Threshold: While a 20% relaxation may be granted by the Principal for valid, documented reasons, attendance must never fall below 75% separately for theory and practical components.

  • Examination Eligibility: Falling below the 75% threshold will result in immediate detention from University Examinations and Sessional Assessments (I, II, and III).

  • Calculation: Attendance is logged from the first day of the session. No retroactive excuses will be entertained for non-compliance.

  • Zero-Tolerance Anti-Ragging Policy: BPT is a safe-campus zone. Ragging in any form, whether on or off-campus, is strictly prohibited. Involved students will face summary expulsion and potential legal action.

  • Prohibited Substances: To maintain a health-conscious environment, smoking and the consumption of tobacco products (gutkha, pan, etc.) or chewing gum are strictly prohibited within campus limits.

  • Digital Decorum: To focus on immersive learning, the use of mobile phones and other personal electronic communication devices is prohibited within academic and laboratory areas.

  • Authorised Channels: The institutional website (www.bharatpharmtech.in) and the physical Notice Boards are the only official means of communication.

  • Student Responsibility: Students are required to monitor these channels daily. The college assumes no responsibility for inconveniences caused by a failure to stay updated with official notifications.

  • Regulatory Framework: Students are bound by all current and future rules framed by the college administration.

  • Principal’s Authority: The Principal reserves the right to modify or amend these regulations as necessary to maintain institutional excellence. All such decisions are final and binding.
